2025 was a pretty darn good year. Tremendous in fact! The fact that it ended with me suffering from the Annual Post-Christmas Cold (thanks sick people on the plane!) only slightly tempered my enthusiasm. So here are things I wrote and things I did.
March: Hooray For Culver City! And other California locales.

I had a grand time in SoCal including Universal Studios Hollywood and Sony Pictures Studios where I saw tapings of “Wheel Of Fortune” and “Jeopardy”. I wrote about the taping experience.
April: The Arcade! I have enjoyed seeing the things Edison Rednest brings to our community, and this year he added a retro video game arcade to the Alliance Theater.
June: The Koz Roast! This was one of my favorite things of 2025. Warren Kozireski, faculty advisor to SUNY Brockport student radio station 89.1 The Point, is retired. A large room full of Koz fans got to give him the razz (Ryan Nobles seemed particularly well prepared for this), and also to thank him for…well, everything.

July: A Blockbuster Month!
So named because my pal Dangerous Dave and I had two spectacular adventures this month. First, we saw the legendary Weird Al Yonkovic in concert at Red Rocks. And a week or two later it was Denver Fan Expo time! (Or as some call it “comic-con”.) We met Elvira, Mistress Of The Dark, SNL alum Rob Schneider and Robbie “Cousin Oliver” Rist to name a few.

Also From July! A Voyage Eastward To See These Very Special People.

September 2025: DISNEYLAND!

October 2025: SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY AT COORS FIELD!

November 2025: My Book! I wrote it. And I even sold a couple. Here’s my thoughts at the end of it all.

Also from November: Sometimes I write things just to be silly. I don’t think any human being saw this when I posted it on Facebook, but I think it’s funny. Read it!
I can’t write about 2025 in review without a shout out to my travel buddy Tami Swearingen…it’s always an adventure!
