Health Update(ish) And More

It’s been a while since I posted a health update. And this is not much as updates go. But on January 13th I headed to UC Denver Health, where the neuro-team said my Chiari malformation was not doing anything. Good night everybody!

If you read a little irritation into this, I’m writing irritation into it. It’s frustrating to miss a day of work, fly to Denver, get a hotel, take Ubers, do this whole big rigmarole for an appointment that lasts all of 18 minutes. Now obviously, I am very happy that the Chiari is…in repose? I have no idea how to phrase it. But it’s not something they see as a problem. They are aware of my adrenal and thyroid issues which are being treated by medication…and so, for now, everything’s in a really good place. And I guess that’s worth a rigmarole every few months. (I always say “rig-a-ma-role” but it’s spelled rigmarole. Know your word power!)

So there. A health update. A brief one. So let’s move on to happier things.

I am planning to see Frankie Valli at the Paramount Theater in Denver in June! I’ve seen the “Jersey Boys” musical at Paris Las Vegas twice and loved it. And I am excited to see the man himself in concert!

I also have a major trip planned for April but I’m not going to talk about it on the blog. I talked about my L.A. trip last year and ended up having to cancel it. NO CANCELLING THIS YEAR! So details on the blog are verboten.
